Joaquin PECCI

For fifteen years, Joaquin Pecci travelled widely in Asia and became particularly interested in the shamanic cultures of the Himalayan region. At the same time, in 1986, he discovered African art and his passion grew, especially for the art of Congo, Mali and the North of Nigeria. Joaquin Pecci opens in June 2007 his own gallery specializing in African and Himalayan tribal art. This gallery located at the Sablon have regular thematic exhibitions illustrated by catalogs and participates in major events related to non-European art, such as "Le Parcours des Mondes" in Paris, "BRUNEAF" in Brussels and the San Francisco Tribal & Textile Arts Show.
